DESCRIPTION:Supported by leading Canadian screen industry organizations\, CWWA administers an annual national award valued at up to approximately $250\,000 in-kind towards a first or second\, scripted fiction live-action feature film project directed by a Canadian woman*\, anywhere in Canada. DESCRIPTION:This WIDC Award offers a one-year mentorship including 12 x 1-hour coaching sessions\, a spot at either Story & Leadership or the Career Advancement Module (recipient’s choice)\, plus WIDC’s partner nomination for Telefilm Talent to Watch program funding. \nThe intended outcome of this Program [Telefilm Talent to Watch] is to discover and develop the next generation of Canadian filmmakers\, and to allow them to establish their voice and sensibility through a first feature. \nAs determined by the CWWA Board\, all WIDC Director alumni are eligible to apply for this Award.
