With over 15 year of experience acting in film and television under her belt, Michelle Morgan has enthusiastically begun a trajectory towards directing and writing. Her first short film, Mi Madre, My Father (2017), was selected by Telefilm for the Not Short on Talent at Cannes edition for the short film corner. Recently Michelle directed three episodes of the new CBC digital series Hudson (SevenTwentyFour), a spin off of the long running series Heartland.

Hudson will be available on the CBC website and app for streaming in September 2018. Michelle is currently completing post on her second short film, Save Yourself, which she wrote and directed with the help of TELUS STORYHIVE. Save Yourself is a proof of concept for a feature length comedy and will be available on the Telus Optik network in the fall of 2018. Over the 12 seasons Michelle has starred on the CBC drama Heartland, she has shadowed numerous directors such as Bruce McDonald, Dean Bennett and Rachel Leiterman. In April 2018, Michelle shadowed veteran director David Straiton on the USA Network drama Shooter. Michelle is developing her feature film, The Plains, with help of the WIDC Story & Leadership program.
