Through funding from Telefilm Canada, the Spring/Summer Edition of the WIDC Career Advancement Module (CAM) is presented in collaboration with the Female Eye Film Festival and the GEMFest in Vancouver.

Founded in 2003, Female Eye Film Festival (FeFF) is Toronto’s only international film festival geared specifically for women directors. The FeFF presents independent films in drama, comedy, sci-fi, action, documentary, experimental and animation by filmmakers from around the globe.  The Female Eye is a juried competitive film festival.

Film awards include: Best of Show, Best Film, Best Debut Director, Best Feature, Best Foreign Feature, Best Documentary, Best Short, Best Animation, and Best Experimental. All films in competition qualify to compete in all award categories. An Honorary Director Award is presented annually to an internationally recognized director.  Any and all subject matters, themes and lengths are accepted as long as a woman has directed the film.
