Jessica Landry is a director, screenwriter, and Bram Stoker Award-winning author. Her projects have been developed through TIFF’s Series Accelerator, NSI’s Series Incubator, the CFC/Netflix Project Development Accelerator, Whistler Film Festival’s Screenwriters Lab and Producers Lab, Series Mania’s Canada/France Co-Production Lab, and Blood in the Snow’s Horror Development Lab. Jessica has several projects in active development that she’s created and will be directing, including the based-on-true-events horror web series, ANATOMY OF A SÉANCE, which received IPF development funding; WE SHALL BE MONSTERS, a docuseries about women in horror, optioned by Cream; and THE NIGHT BELONGS TO US, a feature adaptation of her Shirley Jackson Award-nominated novelette, with Divide/Conquer. She’s written several MOWs, including LIST OF A LIFETIME, which was nominated for a Critics’ Choice Award, as well as the Rockie-nominated feature documentary, TRUE STORY. Jessica has written and directed multiple episodes of APTN’s factual series, 7TH GEN; her own short films, including TESTAMENT (developed through NSI’s Cinematoba program), currently on its festival run, and I FALL TO PIECES, currently in post.
